The Sleepover (2020) Amiably uncomplicated plotting sees rebellious Sadie Stanley uncover staid mother Marin Åkerman's past as expert thief and ropes in younger brother and friends to rescue her from blackmailing criminals. Action and mystery broad and silly, sold with breezy, anonymous ease.

Interceptor (2022) Robust actioner keeps pace brisk and logic on hold, with traumatized officer Elsa Pataky on remote military base in the Pacific becoming last chance to take down threatened nuclear strike on US. Basic characters defined by bone-crunching confrontations and bruising soundtrack.

Exterritorial (2025) Resolute, edgy Jeanne Goursaud is PTSD suffering soldier offered chance to start over until young son goes missing at US consulate and authorities deny he was even there. Suspicious Dougray Scott and tightening conspiracy resolved with blistering fights and fluid visuals, though little tension.

Let It Snow (2019) Attractive cast embrace breezy tone, an engaging mix of the comic and emotional, as Christmas Eve sees romance, family and friendship tested while the snow falls and final celebratory party brings the high schoolers together. In style and theme, amenable rather than distinctive.

One More Time (2023) Reaching forty, weary Hedda Stiernstedt finds herself in self-referenced Groundhog Day time-loop, reliving eighteenth birthday initially with bewildered joy, eventually with anguished frustration. Conjuring colorful early 2000s, protagonist's pleasingly comic arc resolves with tender realisation.

Shinkansen Daibakuha (Bullet Train Explosion) (2025) Sleek design and controlled pace elevates dynamic thriller as high speed train is rigged to ignite bombs if it slows below 100 km/h. With last passengers led by sturdy conductor Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, relatively sober approach anchors increasingly outlandish action.

Balle perdue (Lost Bullet) (2020) Slick stunts and uncomplicated characters power enjoyably streamlined actioner as imprisoned Alban Lenoir is released for skills as a mechanic in souping up cop cars, before being framed for boss' murder. Emblematic police precinct fight spirals comically, bruisingly over the top.

Balle perdue 2 (Lost Bullet 2) (2022) Continuation of obsessed Alban Lenoir's hunt for crooked cops that killed his brother keeps concentration on blistering fights and pulverizing car chases. Some allowance for blunt character conflict, though not enough to detract from added corruption, an electrified car and equally uncompromising Stéfi Celma.

My Old Ass (2024) Loud comedy and coming-of-age drama is grounded by tenacious, expressive Miasy Stella, whose eighteenth birthday mushroom trip conjures her spiky older self Aubrey Plaza from the future. Though fragmented feel undermines final effect, sure sense of place and character feeds life's bittersweet promise.

Balle perdue 3 (Last Bullet) (2025) Fitting conclusion to trilogy of action films maintains formula while amping scale of fights and car chases as moody Alban Lenoir and steely Stéfi Celma seek revenge on rotten Nicolas Duvauchelle and retribution on corrupt police superiors. Enjoyably adrenaline-fueled nonsense with a touch of grit.

The Killer's Game (2024) Despite romance with dancer Sofia Boutella, clinical assassin Dave Bautista orders contract on himself, until misdiagnosis of terminal illness means fighting off legion of killers out to fulfill original hit. Anonymous polish blurs misguided tone and tired, comically stylized violence.
